Beware-Ransomware Virus Passed On

BC Business Broker was recently affected by a ransomware virus passed on from a trusted client. The client had 6 email addresses compromised by this virus. The criminal ransomware organization sent ‘authentic’ looking emails to their database using a valid email address and signature. Emails sent through BC Business Broker and Sunbelt Network were compromised during the attack. The situation has since been resolved.
